Robbert Vreeburg is Communications Manager at Mastercard Netherlands. In his current role, he is responsible for internal and external communications, ranging from media, stakeholder and influencer relations, to events, social media and crisis management. Robbert was the lead for the Pan-European True Name launch campaign, where Mastercard addressed the challenges of misrepresentation by enabling transgender and non-binary people to proudly display their chosen name on their card. As a member of the Mastercard PRIDE Europe Business Resource Group, he closely collaborates with LGBTQIA+ organizations to drive LGBTQIA+ inclusion forward. Previously to Mastercard, he worked for 10+ years on the agency side, contributing to award-winning work in several senior communications roles, working for clients like Microsoft, Samsung, Accenture, Nintendo and fast-moving consumer brands like Kit Kat, Pickwick and Axe.
