Rens started his career MEC where he received an award for ‘Mediatalent of the Year’. After that he became Head of Strategy at VIRTUE, the creative agency of VICE, where he was responsible for the strategy behind loads of local and International campaigns for brand such as Nike, and Johnnie Walker. VIRTUE creates cultural value and commercial impact for brands by leveraging on data and technology from editorial powerhouse VICE. In his current role as Head of Innovation Rens develops innovations and products that connect with the way consumers live and interact with brands.
